Columbia, PA is a riverfront town with historic charm, quaint shops, and a bike trail that attracts visitors. You can even rent an e-bike to ride as much or as little of the 13.5-mile Northwest River Trail.

If you are staying in Columbia with a group of people, consider staying at Freedom Home. Columbia’s only downtown Airbnb. It sleeps up to 10 people, has a beautiful backyard garden, and is only 3 short walking blocks from the center of the city.

The old order mennenotte and Amish use a honor system for payment. Often times you can walk right up to a carpenters kiosk, or flower stand, take what you want and leave the cash. This is especially true with produce and pretzels.
